Columbia, MO -

Reno, NV – the Biggest Little City in the World – and soon to be home again to the 2013 Wild Sheep Foundation (WSF) Sheep Show next month. Also returning to Reno this year are Larry and Brenda Potterfield, owners of MidwayUSA and Official Sponsor of the WSF Sheep Show.

Beginning on Thursday, January 31 through February 2 at the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino, the 2013 WSF Sheep Show is expected to be bigger and better than ever!

This year's convention will be full of hundreds of exhibitors, entertainers and educational events, offering convention-goers seminars, silent auctions, and nightly banquet/auctions featuring the finest hunts, trips, art, firearms, equipment and more special conservation permits than anywhere on earth!

Back for the second year in a row is the Youth Wildlife Conservation Experience (YWCE). The YWCE is a program established with a donation by MidwayUSA's Potterfield family that provides an opportunity for nearly 600 elementary, middle and high school students from the Reno-Sparks area to learn about conservation, wildlife and ethical hunting practices, something many Nevada students never get exposed to in the classroom. The YWCE runs 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday in the Nevada Conference Center rooms of the Grand Sierra Resort.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to visit with Larry Potterfield Saturday morning between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. at the WSF Membership Booth near Registration. Potterfield will also present the keynote address at the Grand Finale Banquet and Special Permit Auction on Saturday night.
