MidwayUSA Introduces Shilen Drop-in Match Barrels for the AR-15

MidwayUSA, a catalog and Internet retailer offering Just About Everything® for Shooting, Reloading and Gunsmithing, is pleased to announce the addition of Shilen Drop-in Match Barrels and Bolts for the AR-15 to MidwayUSA's product line.

MidwayUSA customers may now receive a custom AR-15 experience with the convenience of a drop-in barrel.  To create these barrel and bolt sets, Shilen starts with their match-grade stainless steel blanks.  These blanks are then turned, chambered and headspaced, with a bolt specifically numbered to each barrel.

"The AR-15 is a popular model with our customers," said Ryan Fischer, Gunsmithing Product Line Manager.  "Offering these new drop-in barrels from Shilen is important to us and the customers we serve."

Currently, MidwayUSA is the only retailer stocking these barrels.  Six barrels are available in four chamberings - 17 Remington, 204 Ruger, 223 Remington (Wylde) or 223 Remington (Match) – with the 223 Remington (Wylde) available in three rifling/contour configurations.  Retail price for the 17 Remington barrel is $429.99 – all other barrels are $399.99.
