MidwayUSA Presented with 2015 Missouri Quality Award at Quarterly State of the Business

MidwayUSA recently welcomed Richard A. Royer, President of the Excellence in Missouri Foundation Board of Directors, to their Quarterly State of the Business meeting where he presented the organization with the 2015 Missouri Quality Award. MidwayUSA was one of four organizations selected to receive the Missouri Quality Award in 2015 and the only organization in the service sector to receive the award.

"We're honored to accept the 2015 Missouri Quality Award from the Excellence in Missouri Foundation,” said Matt Fleming, President of MidwayUSA. “It was extra special to have Mr. Royer and other members of the Excellence in Missouri Foundation as guests at our Quarterly State of the Business meeting for the award presentation.  Receipt of this prestigious award further fuels our passion to be the best-run, most-respected business in America for the benefit of our Customers.”

The Missouri Quality Award follows the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award criteria for performance excellence and is presented annually to high-performing, Missouri-based businesses by the EIMF. A recipient of the Missouri Quality Award in 2008 and 2015, MidwayUSA recognizes the application process as a Leadership and Development opportunity for Employees, and for the MidwayUSA organization as a whole. In alignment with their continued pursuit of performance excellence, MidwayUSA plans to apply for the award again in 2018 in accordance with the Missouri Quality Award eligibility cycle.
