MidwayUSA is pleased to announce the promotion of Danny Barton to the position of Quality Systems Manager. Barton began his career at MidwayUSA in 2007 as a Logistics Specialist, and soon thereafter was promoted to Logistics Supervisor. Most recently he served as a Quality Analyst where he grew to become MidwayUSA’s resident ISO 9001 expert, leading to successful ISO audits the past three years. Barton earned his Bachelor of Science in Fisheries and Wildlife from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2008.

“Baldrige and ISO 9001 have played an importing role in building sustainable success at MidwayUSA,” said Barton. “I am excited to continually refine and integrate these processes and drive improvements throughout the organization!”

In his new position, Barton will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of MidwayUSA’s leadership and management framework, including leading activities involved in maintaining alignment with the Baldrige Criteria and MidwayUSA’s ISO 9001 registration. He will also be responsible for managing and continually improving the Leadership Development, and Knowledge Management processes.
