MidwayUSA Promotes Doug Wehmeyer to Systems Architecture Manager

Columbia, MO -

MidwayUSA is excited to announce the promotion of Doug Wehmeyer to Systems Architecture Manager. Wehmeyer joined MidwayUSA in 2004 as an Application Developer.

“MidwayUSA continues to grow at a rapid pace, and Systems Architecture is a critical component, supporting virtually all our work systems,” said Information Systems Vice President Joel Felten. “Doug has been with MidwayUSA almost 10 years now, and has consistently proven himself as an asset to our IS team in developing and maintaining our data systems. I’m confident Doug will continue to provide vital technical expertise and oversight in his new role.”

Most recently, Wehmeyer has served as Database Administrator Manager for MidwayUSA. In his new position, he will oversee system architecture design and implementation work.  He will be responsible for architecture oversight, strategy and implementation of infrastructure required to meet systems vision.

“I am very excited to help MidwayUSA continue to serve Customers at a very high level, through proactive system analysis and improvement,” said Wehmeyer. “Our Customers deserve a great buying experience, and we will continue to focus on meeting and exceeding those expectations.”

Wehmeyer is a graduate of Columbia College, where he earned a B.S. degree in Computer Science. He is also an NRA Life Member.
