MidwayUSA Promotes Tim Holtsman to Engineering Manager – Logistics
MidwayUSA is pleased to announce the promotion of Tim Holtsman to the position of Engineering Manager – Logistics. Tim began his career at MidwayUSA in 2014 as an Industrial Engineer. Most recently, he served as Engineering Manager – Quality Management Systems where he was instrumental in designing, testing, and implementing improvements in nearly every department of MidwayUSA. Tim earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2009 and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2010.
“I’ve worked closely with the Logistics department over the years and I’m excited to officially be part of this great team,” said Tim. “I look forward to focusing my improvement efforts on the processes and systems that directly serve our Customers.”
In his new position, Tim will be responsible for the Warehouse Management System, Inventory Control, and Maintenance. His key job duties will include managing slotting, all formulas and algorithms used by Logistics Applications, driving improvements to performance monitoring and measurement, and leading process improvement initiatives.
“Tim has a proven ability to analyze complicated systems and issues,” said Bill Clinton – VP of Logistics. “His track record of process improvement positions him to be a valuable asset to the Logistics department.”
Tim is a Lifetime NRA member and an avid hunter, with a strong passion for archery and whitetail hunting. He also enjoys bird and waterfowl hunting, and whitetail habitat management on his farm.
