Columbia, MO -

MidwayUSA’s Larry and Brenda Potterfield were recently honored with the Governor’s State of Missouri Conservation Award. The award was presented at the Missouri Conservation Heritage Foundation’s third-annual National Lewis & Clark Conservation Awards Ceremony on September 22nd.

Missouri Governor Mike Parson hand-selected this dynamic couple because they reflect the spirit of conservation, show outstanding leadership in conservation and have positively contributed to conservation principles and programs in Missouri. In announcing the award, the MCHF highlighted Potterfields’ focus on youth conservation and shooting opportunities, emphasizing their creation of the MidwayUSA Foundation and the Youth Wildlife Conservation Experience.

"Larry and I appreciate Governor Parson selecting us for this prestigious award," said Brenda Potterfield, who accepted the award on behalf of the couple. "Missouri has long been a leader in its conservation efforts, and we’re happy we are able to contribute to those efforts and leave a legacy to the hunters and outdoorsmen for generations to come."
