St. Louis Baldrige Community of Excellence Welcomes Guest Speaker Larry Potterfield

Larry delivered a speech on Baldrige aligned leadership and management principles, providing area professionals and community members with a high level view of the significant ways in which Baldrige has helped MidwayUSA maintain focus on the Customer, improve strategic planning and continuous improvement processes, and improve Employee satisfaction and engagement. The speech was delivered June 27 at Logan University’s The Purser, in Chesterfield, Missouri.
St. Louis Baldrige Community of Excellence was founded by Logan University in partnership with the Midwest Excellence Institute. Sponsored by Logan University, St. Louis Baldrige Community of Excellence was created as a resource to local businesses in their pursuit of management systems improvement and performance excellence. Monthly meetings are held at Logan University’s The Purser, and begin with a continental breakfast followed by a guest speaker and a brief Q&A.
Larry Potterfield serves as MidwayUSA’s CEO and Chairman of the Board. He is a husband, father, grandfather and lifelong student of shooting, reloading, gunsmithing and hunting. In business, he is a student of leadership and modern management practices.
