Product Overview

By Scott A. Duff. This reference focuses on the production of the M1 Garand in the years immediately following World War 2 up to 1957. Manufacturers such as Springfield, IHC, and HRA are covered, as well as the similarities and differences between each production run. Detailed photographs and data sheets aid in the identification of military surplus rifles, and a serial number data table is included to verify production dates. A must have for any serious collector or shooter of the M1 Garand. 139 Pages - Softcover.

Scott Duff has been shooting since the age of 10 when his father introduced him to a rifle. Before that, he could be found watching John Wayne movies and reading his father's military books. He's written hundreds of articles for magazines such as American Rifleman, Guns & Ammo and Garand Times. Mr. Duff has also written and published several books, primarily on the history and production of the M1 Garand rifle.
