All CVA Accura models provide a level of accuracy performance that is unequaled by any break-action muzzleloaders on the market today. This degree of precision is attained because the ACCURA is equipped with a premium, custom quality Bergara Barrel. These barrels have quickly become recognized as the most accurate production muzzleloader barrels in the world, and are now available in either Nitride treated 416 grade stainless steel.  All ACCURA V2 rifles include CVA’s patent pending QRBP “Quick-Release Breech Plug” – the only such breech plug on the market that can be easily removed with your fingers and no tool. Plus, the ACCURA V2 stock and forestock are upgraded with a SoftTouch coating and rubber grip panels – making it comfortable and secure even in the foulest weather. And the ACCURA V2 is very simple to operate because the breeching lever is built right into the trigger guard, making the ACCURA V2 one of the easiest opening break-actions on the market. One screw disassembly makes the gun easy to take apart for cleaning or travel. And this ACCURA V2 model comes with a Quake® Claw® Sling, DuraSight fiber optic sights and a PalmSaver solid aluminum ramrod as standard equipment.

CVA’s line of “Northwest Guns” offer all of the features that shooters love in the Accura V2 models, while still meeting the open-breech/ignition requirements of Idaho, Oregon and Washington. The CVA patent-pending NW Ignition System features a modified version of the Quick Release Breech Plug (QRBP) – the only breech plug that is completely finger removable even after multiple firings. This “NW QRBP” has four milled “windows” around the gripping surface, which renders the ignition “open to the elements” as required the muzzleloading regulations of these states. It also features an integral nipple designed for use with traditional Musket Cap primers, and the face of the plug is funnel shaped for more reliable ignition with loose propellants. Plus, a firing pin sized specifically for musket caps and a stronger firing pin spring provide fast and reliable ignition of the propellant charge. 

Note: CVA’s Northwest line of muzzleloading rifles were developed and tested using RWS musket caps. For this reason, CVA strongly recommends using RWS musket caps with these guns.
