The Exude OD40 Gen II is a micro USB rechargeable predator and search light with three brightness settings. Its 40mm bell houses a set of photonic lenses that focus its powerful CREELED to offer a harmonized beam of pure light and a wide field of view by lighting up a 34.5-foot area at 100 yards. When used in combination with a high-quality rifle scope, predator and target identification is possible out to 235 yards. The OD40 will run up to 3 hours on its low setting. It projects 100% of the light into one spot instead of “spilling” and “dispersing” reflected light. Most predators won’t flare from the clean, white Exude light. The OD40 also includes both amber and green lenses inside the robust zipper case that comes with each OD40.
The revolutionary EXUDE OD40 Illuminator features a patented Collimated Amplified Lens System (CALS)--four state-of-the-art lenses to focus and project a beam of light that is pure, clean and powerful. Unlike a flashlight, which disperses a wide cast of distorted light (which may be okay for a walk in the woods or down a dark hallway), the light from an EXUDE is a narrow beam of clean, intense white light that provides for tremendous detail up close and at great distances. Situations in which reflected light simply does not perform well. Identify objects out to 235 yards with the aid of an optical device like a rifle scope or spotting scope. Rifle-mountable. USB cord and charging block included.

The Lumen rating of Optical Dynamics lights is misleading. As used in reference to flashlights, lumen refers to the total amount of light radiated by the light. Because this measurement doesn't consider the focusing efficiency of a reflector or the Direct Projection Technology as used in this Exude light, it does not indicate how "bright" the focused beam actually is. A flood lamp with a very wide dim appearing pattern can have the same lumen rating as a very tightly focused intensely bright spot lamp assembly. Flashlights reflect light, losing over 50% of potential light projecting performance. EXUDE Illuminators project 100% of the generated LED light using the patented Collimated Amplified Lens System (CALS). EXUDE Illuminators project a clean, focused beam with better detail, eliminating rings, dark spots, and distracting light spill.
