The MOE Scout mount attaches directly to any MOE handguard, offering two unique mounting options for weaponlights. First, it offers a Picatinny cross-slot that will accept most weapon-mounted lights and light holders. Second, if you're using a Surefire Scout Light, you can remove the light base entirely and attach the light body directly to the Magpul Scout Mount for a low-profile mounting solution. The Scout Mount is constructed of MagPul's proprietary reinforced composite material that is lightweight and durable. The mount places the light in the 11 o'clock position (left hand side) or the 1 o'clock position (right hand side) on the handguard.
